Rosberg, Hamilton choose same tyre strategy for F1 finale

F1 championship contenders Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton have opted for the same tyre strategy for the season finale in Abu Dhabi. Pirelli revealed the tyre sets chosen by each team for the Yas Marina event, and both Mercedes drivers will have seven sets of ultrasofts, two sets of supersofts and four of softs for the final event of the year. Red Bull duo Max Verstappen and Daniel Ricciardo have opted for a slightly more conservative strategy, with six sets of the softest compound. Ferrari drivers Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen have matched Mercedes in the amount of ultrasofts picked, although the German will have just one set of supersofts available.
