Hamilton clinches pole position in tense Brazilian standoff

Brazilian Grand Prix – Mercedes have claimed the front row for the race at Interlagos, with Lewis Hamilton pipping Nico Rosberg by 0.1 seconds. Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen starts from P3. Hamilton initially put a 1:10.8 as his first laptime in Q3, with Rosberg slotting in 0.2 behind. On the second laps, both men improved with Rosberg finding more time but ultimately falling just shy of Hamilton.
