Hamilton clinches pole position in tense Brazilian standoff

Brazilian Grand Prix – Mercedes have claimed the front row for the race at Interlagos, with Lewis Hamilton pipping Nico Rosberg by 0.1 seconds. Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen starts from P3. Click here for the complete results from Qualifying. Lewis Hamilton claimed pole position at the end of Q3 after a succession of great laptimes from both himself and Nico Rosberg. Hamilton initially put a 1:10.8 as his first laptime in Q3, with Rosberg slotting in 0.2 behind. On the second laps, both men improved with Rosberg finding more time but ultimately falling just shy of Hamilton.
