Magnussen set for Haas switch - reports

 XPB Images Renault driver Kevin Magnussen is set to move across to the Haas F1 Team from the 2017 Formula One season, per multiple reports. The Dane has been waiting on his future from the French manufacturer for several weeks, but Autosport now reports that he is close to replace Esteban Gutierrez alongside Romain Grosjean following advanced talks since the Mexican Grand Prix. Renault’s option on Magnussen was initially set to expire on October 1 until the 24-year-old agreed to extend the deadline to October 14.
