Verstappen slams 'ridiculous' time penalty

Mexican Grand Prix – Max Verstappen has criticised his post-race penalty following the race in Mexico. The young Dutchman was in a battle with Sebastian Vettel for the final place on the podium in the closing stages of the race, with the Ferrari closing in on Verstappen with fresher tyres. As Vettel closed in with DRS on the pit straight, Verstappen locked up into Turn 1 and cut the first complex of corners. He rejoined the circuit ahead of Vettel.
