Wehrlein confirms Force India talks for F1 2017
Pascal Wehrlein has revealed he is in talks to join Force India for the 2017 Formula 1 season following the departure of Nico Hulkenberg. With Hulkenberg confirming a Renault switch for next season, he leaves behind a competitive vacant seat at Force India alongside Sergio Perez, with Manor Racing driver Wehrlein immediately identified as the favourite to replace him. Speaking to German media during this weekend's DTM finale at the Hockenheimring, Wehrlein hinted that talks have indeed taken place between his Mercedes managers and Force India. AWESOME!
