King gets FP1 run with Manor at Austin
Jordan King will make his Formula 1 practice debut when he drives for the Manor team in FP1 for the United States Grand Prix. The 22-year-old Briton, currently fifth in the GP2 standings, has been a development drive for Manor since last year. He made his F1 debut in the Pirelli test in Abu Dhabi in December. King has tested for the team three times - including two days this year - but is yet to drive an F1 car during a grand prix weekend. "First of all, I'd like to thank the team for making this possible," said King.
