Ferrari will change Vettel's engine and gearbox

Ferrari has decided to use the opportunity of Sebastian Vettel's qualifying disaster at the Singapore Grand Prix to fit a new engine and gearbox to his car. Vettel was slowest overall in Saturday's Q1 session after a right-rear suspension link broke on his first qualifying run, leaving his car as a three-wheeler in left-hand corners. With not enough time to fix the component, and his pace not good enough to make it through to Q2, Vettel was dead last and will start Sunday's race from the back of the grid. The only upside to his situation is that Vettel can have new parts fitted to his car without any penalty – and Ferrari has decided to take action. As Vettel had been at the limit of...
