Verstappen and Raikkonen rue lack of qualifying speed

Both Red Bull’s Max Verstappen and Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen voiced their disappointment after qualifying outside of the top three places for the Singapore Grand Prix. After strong practice performances, they both had expected better grid positions than fourth and fifth respectively. Although Raikkonen was in the top three in Q3 after the first runs, he was jumped by both Red Bulls – with Daniel Ricciardo comfortably outpacing teammate Verstappen. “I’m not happy,” said Verstappen. “The whole weekend has been very strong, but I just couldn’t, I don't know, the balance was not like I wanted it.
