Alonso says Halo extraction needs improving

Fernando Alonso believes the Halo cockpit protection system needs more work before it can be introduced in F1, as he reckons it is too hard to get in and out of the car. Both McLaren driver Alonso and Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton tested the device for the first time in first practice for the Singapore Grand Prix on Friday. The Spaniard admitted he felt visibility was reduced with the Halo attached to the car, but reckons drivers will get used to it. Alonso said, however, that extraction times need to be improved.
