Vettel denies he gained time at Parabolica

Sebastian Vettel dismissed suggestions that he gained time by going off the track at Parabolica during qualifying for the Italian Grand Prix. The German Ferrari driver put all four wheels off the track at the final corner during the dying seconds of Q3, improving his time and jumping ahead of teammate Kimi Raikkonen. Vettel will start the race from third, ahead of Raikkonen. But the four-time champion insisted he had not made up ground by going wide, claiming he actually lost time.
