Penalties for Hulkenberg and Sainz

Nico Hulkenberg and Carlos Sainz have both received grid penalties for tomorrow's German Grand Prix. Sainz was adjudged to have impeded Felipe Massa during Q2, the Spaniard seemingly oblivious to the fact that the Williams was approaching from behind on a flying lap. Caught totally off guard the Toro Rosso driver took to the grass on the inside of the corner in an effort to get out of the way of the Brazilian, but that didn't impress the stewards. Deeming that he impeded Massa in T2, an incident as defined by Article 31.6 of the Sporting Regulations, the stewards handed Sainz a 3-place grid penalty and 2 penalty points, bringing his total for the 12 month period to 4.
