Alonso says error cost him chance to beat Vettel

Fernando Alonso was left lamenting a mistake that he believes cost him the chance of beating Sebastian Vettel in qualifying for the Hungarian Grand Prix. Alonso qualified in seventh - the same position he had occupied in first, second and third practice this weekend - in what was his best qualifying showing of the year. But the two-time champion finished the session with a spin after trying to make up for the lost time at the chicane, where he had made a mistake.
