Nico Rosberg secures new Mercedes F1 deal
Nico Rosberg has ended speculation about his immediate F1 future by penning a new deal with Mercedes for the 2017 and 2018 season. The German, who currently leads the 2016 Formula 1 World Championship standings by a single point from team-mate Lewis Hamilton, joined Mercedes in 2010 when the German firm entered the sport as a constructor and has gone on to win 19 races with the Silver Arrows.
