Ocon leads Raikkonen on second morning of Silverstone test
Esteban Ocon has led proceedings on the second morning of the in-season F1 test at Silverstone ahead of Kimi Raikkonen and Pierre Gasly. Aiming to make the most of the dry and sunny conditions with rain showers forecast for the afternoon, Ocon has headed the timesheet in the Mercedes W07 with a best time of 1m 31.212s – fractionally faster than Fernando Alonso's top time from Tuesday. Raikkonen, one of only four F1 race drivers in the second day of the test, took P2 on the timesheet 1.5 seconds back on Ocon with Gasly in the Red Bull moving up to third late in the session with a quicker lap.
