Hamilton dominates British Grand Prix

Mercedes AMG Petronas Lewis Hamilton claimed victory at the British Grand Prix for the fourth time in his career as he dominated proceedings at a wet/dry Silverstone. Hamilton controlled the race to triumph at home for the third successive year, as Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg provisionally secured 1-2 finish for the team. It means Hamilton has cut Rosberg's advantage in the standings to just four points. Max Verstappen completed the podium in third place for Red Bull. A deluge prior to the race soaked the circuit and race control opted to start the race behind the Safety Car.
