Raikkonen happy to disappoint detractors with new Ferrari deal
Kimi Raikkonen says it gives him pleasure to have disappointed some people by securing a new contract with the Ferrari team for next season. Raikkonen's future was subject to speculation for months before the Italian team announced a new deal with the Finn on Friday morning. The decision caused a stir among many F1 fans, who expected Ferrari to replace Raikkonen. The 2007 world champion says the new deal means he can now fully focus on driving, and admitted that disappointing his detractors was a bonus. "Obviously it is more easy.
