Rosberg summoned to stewards over slow lap

British Grand Prix – Nico Rosberg has been summoned to the stewards for exceeding the maximum allowable time between the two safety car lines. The Mercedes driver has been called to the stewards after failing to adhere to the maximum time between the two safety car lines, which are situated at before and after the pit exit. Article 27.5 of the Sporting Regulations is designed to ensure drivers do not circulate too slowly. The championship leader would have done this on an outlap, or a non-qualifying lap. The results of the investigation are still pending. More to follow.
