Rosberg doubles up in Friday practice in Austria

Championship leader Nico Rosberg was quickest on Friday in practice for this weekend’s Austrian Grand Prix. Rosberg set the pace in both sessions at the Red Bull Ring, posting a 1 minute 07.373 second lap in the morning to leave him 0.357secs up on Mercedes team-mate, Lewis Hamilton. Rosberg was then quickest again in the afternoon, edging Hamilton by 0.019secs, although with rain hitting the circuit early on, and the track then only drying out near the end, few drivers actually improved on their FP1 times. “There are some changes to the circuit this year with the new asphalt and kerbing; from my point of view those changes are pretty cool and it's still a really enjoyable track to...
