Chandhok gets Williams historic role
– Karun Chandhok has been announced as Williams' official driver for its Heritage division, which showcases cars from the team's first Formula 1 season in 1977 to recently retired models.In the role, Chandhok will test and demo Williams' cars, with his debut to come at this month's Goodwood Festival of Speed, where he will sample the FW08C from 1983 and FW13B from 1990.Chandhok, who also plays a part in Channel 4's television coverage of Formula 1, says he feels honoured to get behind the wheel of cars that in some cases have been silent for "decades"."Williams is such an iconic British team, steeped in racing history so it's a real honour to be involved in its...
