Alex Lynn wasn't allowed push hard with experimental rear wing

Barcelona Testing – Williams' Alex Lynn had an unusual rear wing fitted to his FW38 on Tuesday, but wasn't allowed push hard with it attached as the team gathered data on higher downforce settings. Lynn rolled out of the garage on Tuesday morning with an unusual double rear wing on his car, a wing that is illegal under current regulations. The team were looking to increase the downforce at the rear of the car, to simulate higher downforce settings which will occur as a result of new bodywork regulations in 2017. The teams are allowed to run the cars in whatever specification they want during open testing. Lynn finished the day P9 after completing 86 laps. His best time was 2.8...
