Hamilton relieved to claim 'crucial' pole
– Lewis Hamilton expressed his relief after beating Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg to pole position for the Spanish Grand Prix.Hamilton trailed Rosberg in all three practice sessions at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, but came out on top in qualifying.Hamilton locked up on his first Q3 run to trail Rosberg, but he moved almost three tenths clear with a rapid final effort of 1:22.000."I'm very, very happy getting that lap in; Nico's been strong all weekend, so it was crucial," explained Hamilton after qualifying."Bit by bit, one step at a time, I've been trying to bring the pace together."A big thank you to the team, the guys at the factory, for working hard...
