McLaren: Significant upgrade planned for Spain

Spanish Grand Prix – McLaren are looking to deliver a ‘significant’ upgrade for the next Formula 1 Grand Prix in Spain later this month. Racing Director Eric Boullier recently stated that the MP4-31 could have matched the Williams cars for pace in Russia had the team not needed to save fuel. Regardless, the British squad bagged their best race finish since the 2015 Hungarian Grand Prix with Fernando Alonso finishing in sixth position, and Jenson Button in 10th. 'We have a significant upgrade [planned] for the next race in Spain,' said Boullier speaking to AUTOSPORT.
