LIVE F1 QUALIFYING -RUSSIAN GP
Welcome to our live and interactive coverage of the 216 Formula One season. Today the action is coming to us from the Sochi Autodrom where the drivers will battle it out for pole position for tomorrow’s Russian Grand Prix. Mercedes continued their domination during the two Friday practice session with Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton taking turns to top the timesheets. Nothing changed in P3 as Hamilton claimed top spot ahead of Rosberg with the Ferraris nearly half a second back. Sebastian Vettel was handed a five-place grid penalty for changing his gearbox after coming to a halt n P2 and will need to qualify as high as possible to get a good starting spot for the race.
