Bite-size tech: Ferrari SF16-H details

This image gives us the opportunity to see the Turning Vanes, which are ordinarily mounted on the underside of the chassis in more detail, as they are laid on the floor as the car is prepared. Ferrari's Turning Vanes are made up of two elements, with the forward most part mounted to the underside of the nosecone. Meanwhile, we can see that Ferrari has opted for the brake drums which have the tear drop-shaped outlets in them. These tear drop-shaped outlets allow hot air created by the brakes to radiate into the wheel, changing the tyres operating temperature for increased performance.
