Alonso admits he'll have to manage pain

Fernando Alonso says he will have to manage the pain in the Chinese Grand Prix after returning to the cockpit of his McLaren on Friday. After having been ruled out of the Bahrain Grand Prix following his huge crash in Australia, the Spaniard was provisionally cleared to drive in first practice today before undergoing further tests. He was eventually given the all-clear to race this weekend, but admitted he was still in pain due to the cracked ribs. "I feel good," said Alonso, 11th quickest in second practice after 31 laps. "I missed the car a lot in the last 26 days and I'm happy to be back. Even if we are not super competitive, I love what I do and I love to be in the car...
