Kimi Raikkonen: “This is not the result we aim to”
Kimi Raikkonen has high hopes about improving on his fourth place grid slot during the Bahrain Grand Prix on Sunday after what he called a ‘straightforward’ qualifying session on Saturday. The Scuderia Ferrari driver felt he should have improved his time during his final run in Q3, but lost time in the opening sector that ultimately prevented him from moving up any higher than fourth, and ended up 0.731s down on the pole time set by Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton. “The session went straightforward, everything worked pretty ok, but obviously it would have been better to gain some positions,” said Raikkonen. “With the last set of Supersoft tires I had some difficulties in the first...
