Gutiérrez urges caution over 'halo' device
– Esteban Gutiérrez has urged Formula 1 to take more time to consider if it introduces a 'halo'-style driver head protection device, or alternative concept, for the 2017 season.Gutiérrez was involved in a nasty collision with Fernando Alonso at the season-opening Australian Grand Prix, with Alonso's McLaren flying over the rear of Gutiérrez's Haas.Alonso went on to strike a wall and flip over multiple times before landing upside down next to a barrier, but managed to free himself from his heavily damaged car within seconds.Gutiérrez reckons the situation could have been more problematic with the 'halo'."One of the things we saw is that Alonso got out very quickly," said...
