Kevin Magnussen: “It was very nice to be back”

Kevin Magnussen admitted it was great to be back racing after sitting out the 2015 season as McLaren-Honda reserve driver when he made his Renault Sport F1 debut during the Australian Grand Prix. The Dane was disappointed to get a puncture on the opening lap of the race in Australia that left him out of points contention, and believes had he not had the puncture he could have secured points first time out for the Enstone team, ultimately finishing twelfth just behind team-mate Jolyon Palmer. “Having been out of F1 for a year, it was very nice to be back,” revealed Magnussen. “It was a tough race, but I was really happy as the pace was very good. “It was annoying to get that...
