Haas can compete with ‘the big dogs'

Gene Haas says Haas' P6 in their debut grand prix is validation that his team can compete with the 'big dogs.' Arriving in Formula 1 with a Dallara-designed chassis powered by a Ferrari engine, much was expected of the new American team. And while scoring points in the 2016 campaign was the target, few believed they could do it upon their debut. Starting P19 in the Australian Grand Prix, Romain Grosjean raced his VF-16 to sixth place at the chequered flag.
