Qualifying Live: Australian Grand Prix
Here are live updates of the qualifying session for the 2016 Australian Grand Prix: Q1: The venture into the unknown qualifying format began with a flock of cars queueing at the end of the pit lane, lead by the two Mercedes drivers of Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg. All drivers had left the pit lane within a couple of minutes of the session. The first man to start a lap, Nico Rosberg, made the first mistake of the session by running wide at turn one, meaning he would likely need to complete another lap. The initial exchanges lead to Romain Grosjean being in the first elimination zone, but improvements for him, Rosberg and Sebastian Vettel put Pascal Wehrlein in last place and in danger of...
