Honda: Testing confirmed engine progress

– Honda's Formula 1 chief, Yusuke Hasegawa, says the manufacturer's showing during pre-season testing at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya confirmed the progress it anticipated during the winter break.Jenson Button and Fernando Alonso were able to complete 453 laps across four days of running, with the Briton's best time two seconds down on Kimi Räikkönen's fastest lap.Hasegawa, who has taken over duties from Yasuhisa Arai ahead of the new campaign, is confident that Honda has made progress, after a troubled first year back in the sport in 2015."The two weeks of testing have been generally good for us, as we were able to confirm the improvements in reliability, deployment and...
