Räikkönen posts fastest time of pre-season
– Kimi Räikkönen clocked the quickest time of the pre-season so far on the penultimate test day at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, while Ferrari also debuted a potential cockpit protection proposal.Räikkönen sampled a range of tyres en route to a 1:22.765 on Ultra Softs, four tenths up on Williams' Felipe Massa, who used Softs.Räikkönen's time was a tenth up on the 1:22.810 team-mate Sebastian Vettel set last week, on the same purple-marked Ultra Soft rubber.Räikkönen aso completed his first lap of the day with the halo-style safety device, which involves three struts wrapping around the cockpit.Force India's Nico Hülkenberg and Toro Rosso's Max Verstappen joined...
