Pirelli confirms compounds for Azerbaijan

– Formula 1's sole tyre supplier Pirelli has confirmed that the Super Soft, Soft and Medium tyres will be available to drivers when the sport visits Azerbaijan for the first time in June.Azerbaijan will join the calendar in 2016, with a race set to be held around the streets of the country's capital, Baku, under the European Grand Prix title.The selection is identical to the trio of compounds which will be taken to the opening four Grands Prix in Australia, Bahrain, China and Russia.For 2016, each driver will receive 13 dry-weather sets per Grand Prix, with Pirelli choosing two sets for the race (only one of which must be used), and a set of the softest compound, only for use in...
