Haas ends second test day prematurely

– Haas has ended running on the second day of the final pre-season test prematurely due to further technical problems, the team has confirmed to GPUpdate.net.Esteban Gutiérrez completed only 23 laps on Tuesday before a fuel system issue struck the Ferrari-powered VF-16, prohibiting the Mexican from conducting any further running at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.Haas worked overnight to amend the issue and Gutiérrez was able to return to action half an hour into the morning session, but completed only an installation lap before the outfit detected an anomaly with the data.Haas has now confirmed that it will not run on Wednesday afternoon, meaning it has amassed only 24 laps...
