Mercedes – Testing in review
Laps: 675 Miles: 1952 Nico – 1:24.867 / Lewis – 1:25.409 Not only has the reliability (in Lewis Hamilton's words) been 'incredible', the W07 is also truly innovative, as is clearly evident from the sheer amount of laps the team was able to run consecutively. During the week, Mercedes added a new nose dubbed ‘Bruce' thanks to the way it resembles a shark in the movie Finding Nemo. This along with an innovative front wing, bargeboards and other parts were added to Ferrari throughout testing. Despite this Hamilton and Nico Rosberg are yet to try Pirelli's new ‘ultra soft' tyres. 'My impression is that other teams have already laid their cards on the table,' said Rosberg....
