Perez feels baseline of new Force India has good potential
Sergio Perez says he is already feeling quite comfortable in the new Force India VJM09 and that the baseline is showing “good potential”. Test and reserve driver Alfonso Celis completed the first runs with the car on Monday, before Perez took over today, posting a 1 minute 23.650 second lap, which left him third on the timesheets. “I'm pretty happy with my first day in the VJM09. Everything went according to plan and we covered lots of laps,” said Perez, who did 470 km in total, just over 100 tours. “The baseline of the car shows good potential and I'm already feeling quite comfortable with the car.
