Problem cuts short Renault's second day of testing in Barcelona
Renault has ended its second day of Formula 1 pre-season testing at Barcelona’s Circuit de Catalunya early after a technical problem. Jolyon Palmer completed 42 laps before he was forced to park the Renault RS16 at the exit of Turn 2 wth smoke pouring from the back of his car. Done for the day, but 42 laps is better than 37 laps. Renault has yet to confirm the cause of the fault.
