McLaren launches Honda-powered MP4-31
– McLaren-Honda has revealed its MP4-31, which it hopes will propel the partnership back up Formula 1's competitive order following a problematic reunion campaign last season.McLaren and Honda linked up for the first time since the 1990s as the Japanese firm returned to Formula 1 following a six-year absence, but the alliance was beset by reliability and peformance issues.McLaren has expressed optimism that developments made by Honda over the winter period will lead to progress in 2016, after finishing ninth in the 2015 standings, ahead of only Manor.Under relatively stable regulations, McLaren says it has been able to "strengthen and mature" design concepts for its new...
