Vandoorne confirms Super Formula move

McLaren-Honda reserve driver Stoffel Vandoorne has finalised his move to the Japanese-based Super Formula championship for the 2016 season. The 2015 GP2 Series champion will dovetail his commitments with McLaren with a full campaign in Japan with Docomo Team Dandelion Racing, with the Belgian driver taking the #41 alongside Japanese team-mate Tomoki Nojiri. Other notable drivers within the eight-car Honda line-up for Super Formula include Vandoorne’s 2014 GP2 Series team-mate Takuya Izawa at Real Racing and 2009 Formula Renault 3.5 Series champion Bertrand Baguette at Nakajima Racing.
