Manor sign ex-Ferrari Chief Designer
The Manor F1 team have secured the signature of former Ferrari designer Nikolas Tombazis. The Greek designer has spent a year on the sidelines of Formula 1, having been released by Ferrari at the end of 2014. He had spent 9 years as Chief Designer for the Scuderia, designing the title winning F2007 & F2008. However, he fell victim to the Ferrari reshuffle after a dismal 2014 campaign. Tombazis takes on the role of Chief Aerodynamicist at Manor, whose 2016 car will be powered by Mercedes.
