Barcelona and Silverstone handed in-season outings
Barcelona and Silverstone will play host to this year's two in-season tests, both taking place in the wake of their respective grands prix. This season Formula 1 has scheduled two pre-season tests to go along with the eight days of pre-season testing. The first will take place at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on May 17 and 18 while the second will be held in the wake of the British Grand Prix at Silverstone. Both outings will be two-day tests, taking place on the Tuesday and Wednesday after the race weekend. The teams will only be permitted to run their regular drivers for two of the four days of in-season testing with the other days going to young drivers.
