Giedo Van Der Garde lands ELMS drive
Former Caterham driver Giedo Van Der Garde has signed up to race for JOTA Sport in the 2016 ELMS. Van Der Garde, who was embroiled in a legal battle with Sauber at the start of the 2015 season after being signed for a race seat, will return to racing this year. He has switched to endurance racing, taking up a seat at JOTA Sport in the European Le Mans Series. He will partner Simon Dolan & Harry Tincknell in the JOTA Sport Gibson 015S-Nissan. In addition to the full ELMS campaign, Van der Garde will also compete at the second FIA WEC round at Spa, sharing the Gibson 015S with Simon Dolan and Jake Dennis at the circuit where the team has won two previous LMP2 classes – in 2012 and 2015....
