Haas passes crash tests with maiden car

– Haas F1 Team has passed governing body the FIA's mandatory crash tests with its maiden car, officially clearing it to take part in pre-season testing at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.Gene Haas' eponymous squad has been stepping up preparations for its debut season, in which it will field Ferrari-powered cars, driven by Romain Grosjean and Esteban Gutiérrez.Haas team boss Guenther Steiner recently revealed to GPUpdate.net that its 2016 contender, yet to be named, would undergo crash testing on January 7/8, an evaluation it has passed."Passed [the FIA's] crash test.
