Verstappen collects three FIA awards
– Toro Rosso rookie Max Verstappen picked up three awards during the FIA's Prize-Giving gala, held in Paris on Friday night, following his standout rookie Formula 1 season.Verstappen, who scored 49 points to place 12th in the standings, won the 'Rookie of the Year' and 'Personality of the Year' categories, and also secured the 'Action of the Year' accolade."I didn't expect to win three FIA prizes; I'm very happy with the recognition of my performance," Verstappen explained to his official website, after collecting the trio of awards."I want to thank Red Bull for giving me the opportunity to make my Formula 1 debut and of course Toro Rosso, my dad and everyone involved....
