‘Ferrari must be in front next year'

Maurizio Arrivabene says it is his 'honest expectation' that Ferrari will beat Mercedes next season. Although Ferrari have closed the gap to Mercedes this year, the Brackley team's drivers have without a doubt been the ones to beat. They have dominated qualifying sessions, taking pole position all but once, while holding down the 1-2 in the Drivers' standings. The championship has already been won by Lewis Hamilton with Nico Rosberg wrapping up second with a race win last Sunday in Brazil. Ferrari have had to settle for best of the rest with Sebastian Vettel, who has won three races, third on the log while Ferrari are runner-up behind Mercedes in the teams' battle.
