Hamilton and Vettel call for F1 technical rule change Formula One world champions Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel has called for a change to F1 technical rules following what they expressed a “boring” Brazilian Grand Prix. The Brazilian Grand Prix race presented – a wheel-to-wheel action at the front of the field during tiny part of the session with the top four finishing in the order they started. Defending world champion Lewis Hamilton, who finished second, ran close behind Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg for long periods of the race, but was unable to make a pass despite believing he was faster.
