Wurz turns down Manor team principal offer
Alexander Wurz has turned down an off by Manor Marussia team owner Stephen Fitzpatrick, after he was asked if he'd consider becoming team principal. With the resignation of both Graeme Lowdon and John Booth, the team has been left without some key high-level staff members. However the team recently announced that former McLaren sporting director Dave Ryan would fulfil the role of racing director, whilst Wurz was offered the top job. Speaking to the BBC, Wurz confirmed he had turned the offer down: "After a period of consideration, I have informed Stephen Fitzpatrick that I have taken the decision not to make myself available to Manor."
