Rosberg beats Hamilton to Mexico pole

Mercedes AMG Petronas Nico Rosberg secured his fourth straight pole position after topping qualifying for the Mexican Grand Prix. Rosberg set an initial time of 1:20.120 before lowering his benchmark to a 1:19.480, as no-one was able to improve on the final lap in Q3. Rosberg’s time proved to be 0.188s faster than Mercedes team-mate Lewis Hamilton, ensuring another front-row lock-out for the squad. Sebastian Vettel was third quickest for Ferrari, ahead of Red Bull’s Daniil Kvyat and Daniel Ricciardo. Williams collected sixth and seventh courtesy of Valtteri Bottas and Felipe Massa, with Max Verstappen in eighth for Toro Rosso. Force India only sent Sergio Pérez and Nico Hülkenberg...
