Alonso: US race 'one of my best'

McLaren Honda McLaren driver Fernando Alonso described his performance in the United States Grand Prix as one of the best of his career, despite failing to score a point. Alonso was cut adrift of the pack following a first lap collision with Felipe Massa but hauled himself back up to fifth, before a suspected sensor problem caused a loss of power. That dropped Alonso down the order and he was demoted to 11th position on the final lap. "This was one of the best races of my career," said Alonso.
