Haas to announce second driver in Mexico

Haas F1 is set to confirm which driver will partner Romain Grosjean for its first season in Formula 1 next week ahead of the Mexican Grand Prix. The US-based team has been steadily gearing up for its maiden season of F1 racing in 2016 by developing its car through a technical partnership with Ferrari and last month confirming the signing of Grosjean. Though Haas itself hasn't given much away about its choice of driver, former Sauber driver and Ferrari reserve Esteban Gutierrez is considered the likely candidate, a prediction given added credence by owner Gene Haas revealing to Sky that the announcement will be made ahead of F1's return to his home nation of Mexico.
